Getting started
1. Create your workspace
Sign up with your business name and email, pick a plan, and you’re in. You can sign in with email and password, a magic link, or “Continue with Google.”
2. Connect your business
In the onboarding wizard, search for your business so we can pull your current Google rating and review count. Then add up to three (Grow) or six (Scale) nearby competitors to track. We snapshot everyone’s review counts weekly so you can watch the gap move.
3. Hand out your review link
Each workspace gets a branded review link and a scannable QR code. Share it, print it on a card, or add it to receipts. Every scan routes the customer straight to your Google review form — and we track scans, clicks to Google, and conversion for you.

Dashboard
Your home base: current rating, total reviews, reviews gained this month, and your velocity. The headline pacing card tells you how many reviews per month it takes to overtake the local leader, and the chart shows you against your top competitors.
Competitors
Add or remove the rivals you want to track. We rank you within the pack and recalculate your gap and catch-up date as the numbers move. Your plan sets how many competitors you can track at once.
Review link & QR
Customize your link’s slug, headline, and brand color, and download a print-ready QR code as a PNG or SVG. The link always sends customers to Google and offers a private-feedback path alongside — never as a filter.
Staff & rewards
Turn review collection into a friendly team contest. Each staffer gets a personal trackable link, and you can set a reward ladder (for example, 10/25/50 asks) and a team goal. Rewards are tied to the number of review requests a staffer makes — never to ratings or review content — which keeps you compliant with the Competition Bureau’s guidance and Google’s policies. There’s also a breakroom-TV scoreboard and printable QR badges.
Templates
Build a library of request, reply, and recap messages with placeholders like the customer’s first name, your review link, and the staffer’s name, so outreach is fast and consistent.
Private feedback
Customers who want to share something privately can use the feedback path on your review page. Those notes land in your private inbox — they are never public and never block anyone from leaving a Google review.
Billing & plan
Change plans, update your card, view invoices, and cancel or resume — all inside the app. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Weekly digest
Every Monday we email the workspace owner a recap: your rank in the local pack, the gap to the rival just ahead, your biggest mover, your review-link funnel, and any new private feedback — so you don’t have to remember to check.
Frequently asked questions
Do you ask customers for a specific star rating?
No. We never gate or filter customers by how they might rate you, and we never reward positive reviews. Everyone is sent to Google; the private-feedback path is offered alongside, not as a screen. This is by design, for both fairness and compliance.
Will rewarding staff get me in trouble with the Competition Bureau or Google?
Rewards in OutReview are tied to the act of asking for a review, never to a review’s rating, sentiment, or existence. That keeps incentives on the right side of Canada’s Competition Act and Google policy. We also keep staff attribution internal — we never ask customers to name an employee in their review.
How often does competitor data update?
We refresh review counts on a weekly cycle. Brand-new workspaces see their first trend after a couple of weeks of snapshots; until then the dashboard shows honest starting numbers rather than estimates.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your billing page whenever you like; your plan stays active through the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
How do I delete my data?
Email support@outreview.ca and we’ll close your account and remove your data. See our Privacy Policy for details on retention.
